With effect from February 2024, Ifeanyi Odoh will take over as Country President for Schneider Electric Kenya, a worldwide leader in energy management and automation.

From his position as South East Asia’s Strategy and Transformation Leader overseeing Vietnam and Cambodia, Ifeanyi moves to Schneider Electric Kenya.

Ifeanyi is a seasoned company executive who has championed sustainability and the new energy landscape ideas in the communities he has worked with. While in Vietnam, he achieved transformational goals that set the stage for products like e-Mobility and Energy as a Service to become game-changers for the company.

Before taking charge of strategy in Vietnam and Cambodia, Ifeanyi oversaw commercial operations and went-to-market strategies for Schneider Electric’s software, services, and products in Anglophone West Africa as Head of Offer Marketing & Business Development. When Ifeanyi first started working for Schneider Electric, he was a research engineer in the company’s strategy and innovation division in France.

Schneider Electric’s Anglophone Africa Cluster President, Devan Pillay, expressed his delight at the appointment of Ifeanyi Odoh as the company’s new Country President for East Africa. In her new position as head of Schneider Electric’s sustainability strategy for international operations, Carol Koech will be moving to Dubai from her position as outgoing country president.

After three years of dedicated service to Schneider Electric Kenya, Devan Pillay expressed his gratitude to Carol for all that she had done. In her role as Country President, Carol oversaw the company’s efforts to improve operational efficiency, and her unwavering leadership has been instrumental in laying a solid foundation and preparing it for future growth.

Furthermore, Devan expressed their delight at Ifeanyi’s promotion and expressed their anticipation of drawing on the institutional expertise and experience acquired across Schneider Electric’s various markets.
