Flutterwave, Africa’s payments technology startup, has announced a partnership with SHiiP, Nigeria’s premier courier service.

The collaboration’s purpose is to make it easier for Flutterwave store SMEs and large-scale merchants across Africa to deliver their goods to their clients.

With over 40,000 small-business entrepreneurs using the Flutterwave Store, the partnership with SHiiP will provide a seamless end-to-end e-commerce experience.

This will allow Flutterwave merchants to choose from over 80 domestic and international couriers, including DHL, FedEx, UPS, Flocargo, Shippo, and Flo Express, for the transportation of goods, resulting in lower delivery rates.

SHiiP’s Flutterwave retail integration aids SMEs

The integration would enable businesses to ship worldwide effectively and would offer SMEs and online customers a straightforward transaction checkout. As SHiiP and their international couriers will be handling all alternatives for international shipment, they will no longer be constrained by the hassles that come with cross-border logistics services.

As a result, this logistics combination will give SME owners and online shoppers a lot of power. By offering a one-stop-shop e-commerce option, the SHiiP integration to the Flutterwave store will give SME owners in Nigeria the power to organise and track delivery couriers straight from their Flutterwave dashboard without the hassles they had to deal with before.

Onyedikachim Nwankwo, Head of Product Marketing at Flutterwave, said, “We’re excited to work with SHiiP because we both want to make it easier and more powerful for SMEs and large-scale merchants in Africa to do business.”

We think that this integration will be very helpful for our customers’ customer satisfaction and bottom line, and we’re proud to keep giving businesses new technological tools that are meant to help them grow their business.

SHiiP’s Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer, and Head of Products, Ridwan Rasheed, said, “We are excited to be working with Flutterwave.” It is a big step for both companies and shows how committed we are to driving innovation and helping African businesses grow by giving them easy shipping choices.

Flutterwave sellers can now offer their customers reliable and affordable shipping services without having to worry about the logistics of sending things across the continent.
