comforte, a pioneer in global data security, has announced a partnership with Google Cloud to integrate its data-centric security solution with the BigQuery remote operations of the Google Cloud Data Warehouse. Through this collaboration, users may take advantage of BigQuery’s analytical power while also benefiting from an increased level of data security.

The serverless design of Google Cloud facilitates rapid processing of big data volumes and smooth running of business processes. Customers may use their own code to augment BigQuery with remote functionalities.

With comforte’s data-centric solutions, users can securely access and modify sensitive information stored in the cloud, including personally identifiable information (PII). Data-centric security preserves the data’s usefulness and privacy by protecting it from the moment it is created until it is deleted, whether it is utilized inside BigQuery or shared outside the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Comforte’s CTO, Henning Horst, is thrilled to provide clients of Google Cloud with an integrated data-centric security solution through BigQuery. We’re excited to provide users of Google Cloud with BigQuery, our data-centric security solution. This collaboration allows businesses to analyze data effectively, driving their innovation-led growth. The comforte Data Security Platform is specifically designed to safeguard data within cloud-based environments, ensuring its protection and usability for data analysis,” stated Henning Horst, CTO at comforte.

Comforte’s integration with BigQuery enables secure data analytics at scale

The integration of comforte’s technology with BigQuery provides safe data analytics at scale. Customers can feel certain in their ability to adhere to data privacy standards like PCI DSS and GDPR, as well as internal security and risk management policies, with the help of comforte’s leading-edge data protection solution, which complements BigQuery’s native security capabilities. This enables companies to improve their data analysis skills, get useful insights, protect their customers’ personal data and trust them without compromising either.

BigQuery and other useful Google Cloud Platform services are available to companies, but only provided they ensure the security of their customer’s personal information and financial data. The data is completely de-identified, so even if it were to get into the wrong hands, it would be useless.

Comforte leverages a wide range of de-identification methods to safeguard user information, such as masking, hashing, encryption, and tokenization. These tools protect data from the get-go, keeping it safe for analysis but making it worthless if it were to fall into the wrong hands.

Horst emphasizes the need for specialized solutions for analytics teams to maintain data utility while maximizing the security of sensitive data. Accelerating data innovation, meeting privacy standards, and reducing the risk of data breaches are all feasible when you adopt a data-centric security approach.

A look into comforte’s services

With over 20 years of experience in the field of data security, comforte continues to offer services in protecting the data of its customers – everywhere, always and permanently. To make sure that sensitive company information is useless to hackers, the company encrypt and tokenize it using advanced security measures. When all other safeguards have proven inadequate, comforte provides the last, best line of defense against both internal and external threats.

Protected data may be utilised normally across all platforms using ccomforte’s technologically leading encryption. Another benefit is how quickly and easily it can be implemented in many types of system environments. This method combines efficient and low-cost deployment with the greatest possible standard of safety.

The bulk of global credit card transactions are, therefore, already safeguarded by comforte’s data security solution, and many internationally prominent businesses depend on this “Made in Germany” security.
