Bolt, an e-hailing company, has added a tool that lets customers book rides up to 72 hours ahead of time. Planned Rides, This feature will save time for riders and give drivers time to get ready for such trips. Keep in mind that Uber started doing this in 2020.

Bolt noted that business clients will benefit. Using Ride Booker, Bolt Business users can book rides for themselves and their coworkers.

Scheduled Rides also take away drivers’ worries during rush hours. This tool will cost extra, so drivers will be more likely to use it. This means there will be more cars and service workers.

Riders can also choose which group they belong to and tell drivers what to do. This lets people make their rides fit their needs. Scheduled Rides customers should expect their drivers to arrive on time.

The most interesting thing about this new service is that it doesn’t charge extra for peak times. This will let people plan trips without thinking about the price going up or down.

Bolt Nigeria’s Country Manager, Yahaya Muhammed, said, “As a business, we value our customers’ feedback. That’s why we’re happy to introduce the Scheduled Rides feature, which is another step in our efforts to improve the overall passenger experience.” This shows how much we care about making things easy and reliable for users.

Kenya Country Manager Linda Ndungu says that Scheduled Rides would make things better for passengers. Drivers will benefit because they won’t have to worry about getting a ride when demand is high.

Bolt makes it easier than ever to plan a trip. “Passengers have more control over their business and personal travel, which makes getting around easier and more fun,” she said.

Using Scheduled Rides

As was already said, the scheduling function puts riders’ comfort first. This service should be helpful, whether you need a ride to the airport or need to get somewhere quickly. The booking process is pretty easy to understand.

Bolt says it takes less than a minute, and buyers can choose between two ways to book. For one, riders need to open the Bolt app, tap the icon that looks like a car and a schedule, and enter the time and date they want to be picked up. Next, choose where you want to go, choose a ride type, and then tap Reserve Bolt to finish the request.

The other choice is to open the Bolt app, put your desired destination in the “Where To” field, and tap the calendar icon in the lower right corner of the screen. The last step is to choose the date and time of the ride. Bolt also says that riders will have five minutes to wait for free instead of the usual two.
