Talents Arena, an Egyptian AI recruitment startup, has announced that UI Investments, along with a number of famous Saudi and regional angel investors, has provided it with pre-seed capital in the amount of $750,000.

This new round of funding comes at a time when the company is rapidly establishing itself as a leader in the artificial intelligence recruitment field. This type of business is vital for reducing the unemployment rate in the Middle East and Africa.

In addition to having been a graduate of the illustrious Plug and Play startup accelerator programme, Talents Arena is a company that is held in the investment portfolio of Flat6Labs. The fact that the company was able to successfully get this pre-seed funding demonstrates that investors have a strong belief in the large market opportunity that exists in the Middle East.

By utilising its one-of-a-kind talent mining engine and several automated capabilities, Talents Arena has been able to successfully make more than 180,000 job matches and place thousands of people in appropriate tech employment. The newly acquired money are going to be put towards Talents Arena’s intentions to expand into Saudi Arabia and the other GCC countries.

The Saudi market currently accounts for 25% of the company’s clientele.

“We are excited to bring our cutting-edge technology to businesses across industries in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, helping hiring managers and recruiters find talents faster with higher accuracy and at a better economical value.”
