Microsoft Corporation, multinational technology corporation that manufactures computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services has been working effortlessly over the years to give its user the best experience.
On Tuesday, Microsoft took to the virtual stage as it unveiled a series of new features for Windows 11 that are intended to meet the needs of people who work in a hybrid environment.

During the pandemic, the switch to working from home prompted a revolution in the demand for personal computers. Currently, Microsoft is hoping that a gradual return to the office will help to boost the sales of its most recent operating system.

Panos Panay, Chief product officer explained in an interview that “ the idea is to help companies be more agile and flexible for their employees and themselves”

What You Need To Know About Windows 11 New Features

Windows 11 is intended to bring users closer to the things they enjoy doing.
Windows for more than 10% of Microsoft’s revenue has become more popular as a result of the pandemic, as people stayed at home and spent more time on their computers for school, work, and recreation.

The simplification of the Windows user interface, the introduction of a new Windows Store, as well as improvements in performance and multitasking, are the primary focus of Windows 11. In addition, for the first time, Windows 11 will include support for running Android applications.

Updates on Windows 365

In 2021, Microsoft introduced Windows 365 as a way for employees to access cloud-based PCs from anywhere. Three new features will be added to the service, according to the announcement made on April 5th.

The first of them, Windows 365 Boot, allows you to connect to your Cloud PC every time you power on your device. That’s a step forward over the existing approach, which requires you to first log in to your normal desktop. However, owing to a new Task Switcher, switching between the two will be much simpler. In principle, this should make switching between open windows as straightforward as switching between open windows. The most important new feature, though, is Windows 365 Offline, which allows you to continue working on your Cloud PC even if your internet connection goes down. Once the connection is restored, the changes will be preserved.

It’s unclear when these capabilities will be introduced to Windows 365, or if they’ll be accessible to all subscriptions. Microsoft also revealed a series of new enterprise-focused improvements.

Additional Windows 11 Features

Furthermore, on Tuesday include enhanced phishing protection. Defender SmartScreen detects and warns users who enter their Microsoft login credentials into a compromised website or harmful software.

Smart App Control stops untrusted applications from running. Personal data encryption safeguards data kept on a device even when the user is not signed in. That makes recovering sensitive data from a lost or stolen device more difficult.

Windows 365 boot, which allows users to connect straight into a cloud PC, is one of the features targeted at bridging the gap between the virtual and physical worlds.

Other Window 11 New features expected include

  • New design and Start menu at the center
  • Windows 11 will support Android apps
  • Windows 11 Snap Layouts and Snap Groups
  • Microsoft brings Xbox features to Windows
  • Microsoft Integrates Teams in Windows 11
  • Windows 11 Widgets
