The new television lineup that LG Electronics (LG) has introduced for the year 2023 features a variety of technological innovations that are aimed at giving greater picture quality, sound performance, and usability.

This line-up is highlighted by the OLED evo C3, the company’s most technologically sophisticated series of OLED televisions to date.

The latest OLED TVs from LG elevate viewing experiences in a way that only LG OLED is capable of doing. These new TVs have premium self-lit picture quality, sophisticated image processing technologies, and an improved webOS platform that offers even more smart features and services.

It’s been ten years since LG was the first company to release an OLED television, and in that time, a lot of things have changed. What is brand new for the large televisions of 2023, and should we be enthusiastic about it? This year marks something of an anniversary for televisions since OLED displays are turning ten years old. Although it may be hard to believe, this year marks the occasion.ws

Comments from LG’s Executives

“At LG, we are committed to continuous innovation across our home entertainment products, and our 2023 TV range is no exception. And as our technologies have evolved, so has the role of the TV in Nigerian homes,” said Choongbae Seok, General Manager, TV Division, LG Electronics West African Operations.

“Whether it be the hub where people gather for the latest sporting match, game, or movie, or a statement piece positioned to impress invited guests, this year we are providing a television for every consumer,” he said.

The precision and performance of LG OLED evo technology, along with the brand new a9 AI Processor Gen6, allow the C3 OLED evo to give increased brightness and colour accuracy, in addition to exceptional clarity and detail. This is made possible by the combination of the two technologies. It is available in 83-, 77-, and 65-inch lengths.

The other range is comprised of the QNED 81 Series (75″, 65″), the Nano 77 Series (75″, 65″, 55″), and the UHD UR Series (75”, 65″, 55″, 50″).

TVs from LG now have a more streamlined appearance and a narrower bezel to better suit the furnishings in your house. Invest in a better viewing experience so you can appreciate lifelike colours and breath-taking detail in true 4K.

Not content to just develop goods and services that make people’s lives easier, LG keeps pushing the boundaries of technological advancement. The LG OLED TVs of the year 2023 are designed to be more gentle to the environment, beginning with their manufacturing and continuing all the way through to their disposal, establishing sustainable cycles.

Because there is no backlighting unit in an LG OLED TV, the production of each TV requires a lower volume of materials than that of a standard LED TV.

They even come packaged in eco-packaging that is made from recyclable materials and features printing in a single colour. This is in addition to the fact that many of their components are manufactured from recycled polymers.

The OLED television model 2023 produced by LG has received certification by TÜV Rheinland as having low levels of blue light and flicker-free operation from UL Solutions, making it easier on viewers’ eyes.

The OLED C3 has been praised by media outlets such as CNET, which stated that the device “sets the standard for the picture quality of high-end TVs.”

The LG OLED C3 has arrived with updated picture processing that improves HDR, an appealing design, a revamped smart TV interface, and a plethora of capabilities that will appeal to both gamers and movie enthusiasts. This information was provided by TechRadar. The evaluation pointed out that “LG has delivered another winner with the C3 OLED.”

The following items are included in the LG 2023 television lineup:

Quicker HDMI switching

A lot of HDMI 2.1a features can be used with the new LG OLED TV models, and the C3 versions still have 4 ports.

These TVs are also the first ones to be approved by the HDMI group for the brand-new Quick Media Switching VRR (QMS-VRR) feature. When you switch between materials from different sources connected to the TV’s HDMI 2.1a ports, QMS-VRR gets rid of the brief black screen. This can only be done with source devices that are approved for HDMI 2.1 QMS VR.

Gaming is still a focus

LG OLED and QNED TVs have a response time of 0.1 ms, low input lag, and up to four HDMI 2.1a ports for the best gameplay experience. Game Optimizer is another feature that comes with LG OLED TVs. It lets users quickly choose and switch between game-related features like game-type display presets.

The Game Optimizer also makes it easy to change the settings for Nvidia G-Sync, FreeSync Premium, and variable frame rate (VRR).

Improved picture and sound quality

LG’s latest Alpha processor uses deep learning technology driven by AI to make sure the picture and sound quality are great. Better upscaling in AI Picture Pro makes images clearer, and better dynamic tone mapping helps each picture show more depth and detail.

AI Picture Pro also has picture processing technology that can identify objects or faces and make them look better so that the HDR quality is more like real life.

Through the TV’s built-in speakers, AI Sound Pro also delivers virtual 9.1.2 surround sound, which makes watchers feel even more connected to what’s happening on screen.

Enhanced webOS and software

This year’s models come with the newest version of webOS and the brand-new All New Home user interface, which gives you more ways to customise your experience and makes it more comfortable.

With the new Quick Cards, users can quickly get to the apps and material they use most. The cards are organised into useful groups, like home office, gaming, music, and sports.

Using information about how people watch TV and what they like, the more advanced webOS makes it easy for people to get suggestions that are specifically made for them.
