FIFA+ is a new online video streaming service introduced by FIFA, the world’s largest football regulatory body, yesterday.

The new service will feature live domestic league games from throughout the world, as well as new live productions and a large archive of previously broadcast games dating back to the 1950s.

 

About FIFA+

“FIFA is thrilled to announce the launch of FIFA+, a world-class digital platform developed to link football fans across the world more profoundly with the game they love, for free,” reads a statement from FIFA.

Live football matches, interactive games, news, tournament information, exclusive video material, and more will be available through FIFA+.

“FIFA+ is the next step in our aim to make football truly global and inclusive, and it supports FIFA& primary mission of extending and developing football around the world,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated.

“This project symbolizes a cultural shift in how different sorts of football fans desire to connect with and discover the global game, and it has been a critical component of my Vision 2020-2023.” It will hasten football democratization, and we are thrilled to share it with fans,” he says.

The federation claims that by the end of the year, the site will have streamed 40,000 live men’s and women’s football games. 100 member associations from six confederations compete in this event.

The FIFA+ archive area debuted with over 2,500 movies, including more than 2,000 hours of footage from every FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women World Cup match.

The site also includes a matching center, which will deliver stats and news from 400 men and 65 women competitions throughout the world. Finally, as part of the FIFA+ Originals, the service will provide a slew of docu-series in 11 languages.

 

Some of The FIFA+ Games That Will Be Shown Are 

•Ronaldinho: The Happiest Man in the World is a feature-length documentary chronicling Ronaldinho rise to prominence as a world-renowned football player.

•Croatia: Defining a Nation is a feature-length documentary on how football is ought the Croatian people together.

•Dani Crazy Dream is a six-part documentary series on Dani Alves road to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

•Golden Boot — A four-part documentary series about and centered on FIFA greatest goal scorers.

Season 1 of Academies provides an inside look at how football talent is discovered and developed for the big levels.

FIFA+ appears to be shaping up to be a football fan dream come true, Finally, as part of the FIFA+ Originals, the service will provide a slew of docu-series in 11 languages. viewers will not have to pay anything.

The service can be accessed using a web browser or through the Android or iOS apps on a mobile device.
