Visa will also provide exclusive merchandise to Orange Premier customers.

Customers can now use Visa’s global network to conduct all financial transactions through Orange Cash’s wallet. Orange will expand the QR code service to enable merchants to accept payments using the digital wallet.

During the signing ceremony, Noel Chateau, Orange Egypt’s Chief Transformation, and Operational Efficiency Officer expressed his satisfaction with the new services made available to Orange customers due to this partnership with Visa, the world’s largest electronic payment network.

“We at Visa are thrilled to announce five-year cooperation with Orange, the world’s largest telecom provider and one of Egypt’s largest mobile network operators. We will connect our services and goods to the Orange Cash wallet and enable users to use multiple issuing products. This is part of our diversification plan for payment options, promoting digital payments, and assisting Egypt in transitioning to a cashless economy. We are committed to investing in this cooperation to capitalize on the tremendous growth opportunity ahead of us,” stated Malak Al-Baba, Visa Egypt’s Country Manager.
