Advocating for Decarbonization and Sustainable Policies

Scott Tew, Vice President of Sustainability at Trane Technologies, emphasises the need for innovation and supportive policies to drive decarbonization at scale. He stresses that companies worldwide, spanning all sectors, must be accountable for meeting commitments and taking urgent action to create a more sustainable future. Trane Technologies is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders, aligning its goals with the COP28 open letter that calls for increased public-private collaboration to reduce emissions globally.

Trane Technologies leaders will actively participate in climate action dialogues throughout COP28, addressing various aspects of climate innovation. These dialogues include discussions on financing and innovating industry decarbonization, accelerating climate innovation, disrupting climate trends through next-generation leadership, and reducing city emissions through improved building management and clean transport.
