Similar to the Hot 30 series, Infinix has launched the #HottestDanceChallenge, a dance competition featuring three winners who will have the opportunity to earn Ksh 400,000 in cash at the launch event on December 15.

Dance crews are welcome to take on the challenge; they just need to demonstrate their originality, style, and creativity. There are numerous monetary rewards up for grabs:

First Runners Up: Ksh. 100,000 Second Runners Up: Ksh. 80.000 Winner: Ksh.

The timelines

The following are the deadlines for the challenge:

The Hottest Dance Crew will be called out on December 4, 2023. After that, Dance Crews will have five days to upload their online challenges.

The top six dance crews will be revealed on our social media channels on December 9, 2023. They will have to request votes from their supporters. Six days before the launch, the top three crews will be chosen to choreograph the NEW Model’s jingle. During the launch, they will then engage in a battle.

December 12, 2023: Infinix’s social media accounts will post the top three dance crews moving on to the finals.

December 15, 2023: During the premiere ceremony and on social media, the top three crews will compete. On Infinix’s Twitter account (X), a final Twitter poll will be published, and each of the three teams must request that their fans vote for them.

The major cash awards will be given to the winners during the launch ceremony. It’s important to note that Infinix may utilise the top three winning choreographies in future ads. After being given prizes, the dancers will also have to share the winning choreography on Instagram and TikTok.

When filming their dances, dance crews must go by a few guidelines. According to Infinix, dance crews with visually appealing, inventive, and well-maintained movies have a higher chance of winning. You also need to have a clean background—preferably a plain white background.

The official hashtag for all submissions is #InfinixKenya #HottestDanceChallenge. Without these two hashtags, a challenge will be instantly invalidated.

Both of Infinix’s official handles are tagged on Instagram Reels and TikTok, which are the official channels to be used.

The launch of Infinix Hot 40 series

This week, Infinix is scheduled to launch the Hot 40 series in Kenya. The Hot 30 series, which was introduced early this year with a focus on Gen Z, was replaced by the new lineup, which comprises the standard Hot 40, Hot 40 Pro, and Hot 40i.

The screen on the Hot 40 and Hot 40 Pro is 1080p; the screen on the Hot 40i is 720p. Except for the Hot 40i, all have 6.78-inch screens with refresh rates of 90Hz and 120Hz. There are punch-hole cuts for the 8MP selfie camera on all of them.

The MediaTek Helio G99 processor will power the Hot 40 Pro, the Spreadtrum T606 processor with 4GB RAM powers the Hot 40i, and the MediaTek Helio G88 chip powers the standard Hot 40.
