One of the most influential companies in the digital world, Google, has collaborated with Roblox to develop a novel game called Be Internet Awesome World to educate children about the centre’s significance.

This cooperation links games and study so that younger readers can offer a pleasant and stimulating virtual atmosphere where they can also develop necessary computer literacy.

Unpacking Google and Roblox’s online safety initiative

Google and Roblox partner to use the potential of games to teach kids about appropriate behaviour online. Currently, it boasts almost 80 million daily active users, and due to its popularity among children and teenagers, it is a perfect place and time to share the topic of Internet safety.

It leads teams and individual players into a world of ‘Internauts’ and provides imaginary guides for users through a series of games. These games are designed to help people understand how to identify phishing scams, the dangers of displaying excessive amounts of personal information and the need to establish secure passwords.

Organising these lessons into easily approachable activities in a lively environment, Be Internet Awesome World simplifies complex concepts into enjoyable tasks.

The relationship between Google and Roblox is predicated on the fact that a child can learn better in the context of play, particularly in line topics such as Internet security that may sometimes seem instead removed from the child’s life.

Empowering youth through inline safety education

This educational program is part of Google’s broader Be Internet Awesome program, which has been aimed at helping children and youth make safe decisions in the online world for years.

With the internet’s ever-growing role in children’s daily lives, educating children regarding its dangers and safeguarding mechanisms has never been more critical. Google’s educational goal for the game is clear: provide kids with tools to shield them from online dangers while teaching them to be friendly and polite to each other online.

Still, this sort of cooperation has raised some criticism. Nonetheless, Roblox has not escaped criticisms regarding safety, the company’s safety, and how safe the platform is for boys and girls from unscrupulous individuals. Critics also are quick to remind that Roblox has its own set of problems within its platform, which it should solve before addressing the problem of teaching kids about safety on the Internet.

However, both companies are confident the above game will achieve its purpose of enabling children to learn important features of digital safety. Parents should, therefore, enrol their children in this new, fun-filled learning process.

Be Internet Awesome World is now on Roblox, and the world can’t wait to start learning, organising a party with their friends, or participating in a challenging game that will teach them valuable lessons in the Internet jungle.
