Benue farmer wins N5 million in BetKing’s Virtual Christmas Jackpot

BetKing, a gaming platform, on Sunday announced that Gabriel Orpin, a farmer from Benue state, was the winner of its N5 million virtual Christmas Jackpot.

Orpin, a farmer who cultivates yams, rice, and cassava, intends to buy property, construct a house for his family, and make additional investments in his business.

“This win is truly life-changing,” Orpin said. “I’ll buy land, build a small house, and start a small business to ensure the money keeps working for me. I’m so grateful to BetKing for this opportunity.”

In June, Orpin started his adventure with BetKing, learning about virtual gaming. Following several minor victories, such as N18,000 and N185,000, his perseverance paid off when he won the jackpot at Christmas.

“When I got the call about my win, I couldn’t believe it. But when BetKing explained everything, I knew it was real,” Orpin said.

BetKing expressed enthusiasm

Nengi Akinola, BetKing’s head of marketing, said she was thrilled by Orpin’s accomplishment: “Orpin’s win represents everything BetKing stands for—transforming lives and creating memorable experiences for our customers.”

The win was part of BetKing’s larger Christmas celebrations, which also featured the BetKing Danfo Santa campaign, spreading joy and food to communities in Lagos.

For Orpin, the N5 million prize represents more than just money. “BetKing has brought joy to my life, and I pray they continue to touch lives in meaningful ways,” she said.
