On Tuesday, qeen.ai, a Dubai-based startup founded by former Google and DeepMind employees, announced it has raised $10 million in seed funding.
The funding round, led by Prosus Ventures, brings the company’s total funding to $12 million, following a pre-seed round of $2.2 million. With this new investment, qeen.ai is set to expand its innovative platform of AI agents tailored for e-commerce businesses.

AI agents transforming e-commerce operations
qeen.ai aims to simplify and automate e-commerce operations for small and mid-sized businesses. Its AI agents are designed to handle content creation, marketing campaigns, and customer interactions, allowing merchants to focus on growing their businesses.
Morteza Ibrahimi, co-founder and CEO of qeen.ai, shared the company’s vision:
“Our goal is to make advanced AI accessible to every e-commerce business. We want to help them save time, reduce costs, and scale efficiently without needing large teams or expensive agencies.”
The platform’s AI technology uses machine learning to optimize workflows and improve customer engagement. By automating repetitive tasks, qeen.ai aims to level the playing field for smaller merchants in the competitive e-commerce space.

Startup founded by Google and deepMind alums
Ibrahimi, CTO Ahmad Khwileh, and Chief Business Officer Dina Alsamhan founded the startup in 2023. The trio brings deep expertise from their time at Google and DeepMind, where they worked on cutting-edge AI projects. Their combined experience positions qeen.ai as a leader in developing practical AI solutions for real-world challenges.
Robin Voogd, Head of Middle East Investments at Prosus Ventures, expressed confidence in the startup’s potential, stating, “We believe qeen.ai’s technology will empower online merchants in ways that were previously unimaginable. This is a game-changer for the e-commerce sector.”
With the MENA region’s e-commerce market expected to reach $50 billion by the end of 2025, qeen.ai plans to use the funding to expand its team and refine its platform. The company also intends to roll out additional features that address the evolving needs of online businesses.
