Rockstar Games is gearing to deliver an exciting free upgrade for Grand Theft Auto (GTA V) on PC, scheduled for release on March 4, 2025.

Stunning visual enhancements and performance boosts

One of the most anticipated additions is the implementation of ray tracing, which dramatically enhances lighting, shadows, and reflections throughout the game. Whether cruising the bustling streets of Los Santos or exploring the rugged terrain of Blaine County, players can expect a more immersive and realistic world.

The update also introduces AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS support to ensure smooth performance, enhancing graphics while maintaining high frame rates. DirectStorage support will significantly reduce loading times, allowing players to dive into the action faster. Additionally, enhanced support for ultra-wide monitors and high refresh rate displays will make the game look even more stunning.

New vehicles and gameplay features

The GTA V PC upgrade isn’t just about visuals; it also introduces exciting new vehicles and gameplay features. Supercar enthusiasts can look forward to the Coil Cyclone II and Pegassi Weaponised Ignus, while muscle car fans will appreciate the Imponte Arbiter GT. Hao’s Special Works (HSW) will be available for the first time on PC, allowing players to push vehicle performance to new heights with exclusive upgrades.

New gameplay features include wildlife photography challenges, offering in-game rewards for capturing animal encounters throughout Los Santos. PC players can also sign up for the new GTA+ membership, which provides monthly bonuses, exclusive perks, and access to a massive 100-vehicle garage.
