Cross Switch, a global payments technology company, officially launched its services in Kenya on Thursday through a strategic partnership with local licensed payment provider Pesawise. This move marks a major expansion of Cross Switch’s footprint in Africa, leveraging Pesawise’s strong regulatory standing to deliver seamless payment solutions across Kenya’s growing digital economy.

Expanding payment options for Kenyan businesses

The partnership enables Kenyan merchants to accept payments easily across multiple channels, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, mobile money, and bank platforms.

Cross Switch’s scalable global payments infrastructure simplifies payment processing, reduces transaction costs, and accelerates settlements. This benefits various sectors, such as hospitality, e-commerce, delivery services, and cryptocurrency in approved regions. Already, the alliance has supported key clients like Glovo Kenya, demonstrating an immediate impact on the market.

Cross Switch CEO Tim Davis expressed enthusiasm about the partnership’s alignment: “During the establishment phase of this partnership, it is refreshing to see a shared common set of values with Pesawise to provide our customers with best-in-class service levels and straightforward solutions.
