East Africa’s leading hyperscale, AI-ready data centre, iXAfrica Data Centres, on Monday announced its partnership with EdgeNext, a global leader in cloud infrastructure and edge computing services, to propel the region’s next wave of digital infrastructure expansion.

In this strategic partnership, iXAfrica combines its cutting-edge infrastructure and carrier-neutral ecosystem at the flagship Nairobi One (NBOX1) campus with EdgeNext’s global edge platform, which includes CDN, bare metal, and edge compute.

Working together, the two businesses pledge to provide enterprise clients in the media, telecom, financial services, and cloud-native industries with mission-critical, low-latency, and high-performance solutions.

“Partnering with iXAfrica allows us to bring our global edge platform closer to where digital demand is scaling fastest,” said Terence Wang, CEO of EdgeNext. “This alliance enables enterprises in East Africa to deploy latency-sensitive applications, deliver content seamlessly, and meet regulatory data sovereignty requirements all from a local base.”
