Dashen Bank in Ethiopia has introduced a new feature on its SuperApp platform aimed at simplifying the payment of school fees.
Launched on Thursday, the feature allows parents and students to pay tuition and related fees digitally, offering a practical and time-saving solution.
Previously used for services such as fuel, e-commerce, traffic fines, and entertainment payments, the SuperApp now includes functionality developed in collaboration with educational institutions.
The addition is expected to reduce paper usage, cut administrative workloads, and lower fee collection costs.
Dashen Bank aims to enhance efficiency for both customers and schools by leveraging digital technology.
The SuperApp also allows users to track transactions, giving parents greater transparency and control over their financial obligations, whether they are at home or on the move.
