Xiaomi Nigeria officially launched the Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 4G on Tuesday, marking a fresh chapter in the tablet market with devices that combine strong performance and stylish design.

These tablets are crafted to deliver immersive entertainment and reliable productivity, making them ideal for students, professionals, and families.

Stylish design meets practical performance

The Redmi Pad 2 series stands out with its sleek, lightweight metallic finish and trendy colour options. The Redmi Pad 2 offers three elegant colours: Graphite Grey, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple, while the Redmi Pad 2 4G comes in Graphite Grey and Mint Green.

This variety caters to diverse tastes, ensuring users can express their style without compromising functionality.

Under the hood, the tablets feature a powerful Mediatek Helio G100 Ultra chipset paired with up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, expandable via microSD.

The 11.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate delivers sharp visuals, perfect for streaming, reading, or virtual classes. The 9000mAh battery supports all-day use, complemented by four stereo speakers that enhance audio quality for entertainment and video calls.

Versatile use for every user

Xiaomi designed the Redmi Pad 2 series to meet the needs of various users. Students benefit from a lightweight device ideal for online classes and reading.

Professionals gain a portable productivity tool capable of handling multitasking smoothly. Families find a reliable entertainment hub suitable for all ages.

The Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 4G are available in Nigeria starting July 8, 2025, through authorised Xiaomi stores, official retailers, and online platforms.

Pricing starts at ₦224,800 for the 4GB + 128GB Redmi Pad 2 and ₦252,800 for the 4GB + 128GB Redmi Pad 2 4G, with higher configurations priced accordingly.
