GMIND AI and Nigeria’s Teachers Registration Council (TRCN) are creating an AI-powered learning platform for 1.5 million certified teachers.

This effort is anticipated to transform school instruction nationally. From innovation hotspots in cities to isolated rural schools, the lesson platform, which launches on October 6, puts local value and intelligent planning at the fingertips of all registered teachers.

AI Tools and Local Relevance: Empowering Every Licensed Educator

Regarding generic imports, don’t panic. Nigeria is the only target of the TRCN and GMIND AI learning platform.

The system delivers lessons and simulations based on local history, culture, curriculum, and global viewpoints.

“Technology must not erase identity,” said GMIND AI’s Dr. Deji Ajani. “By building local relevance into global learning models, we ensure Nigerian students see themselves in the knowledge they consume”.

Digitally savvy educators can access dynamic AI-generated lessons, while less tech-savvy educators receive pre-made, prescriptive programs.

TRCN registrar Dr. Ronke Soyombo highlights the approach: “Once the burden of lesson planning is reduced, teachers can focus on creativity and meeting each learner’s needs.”

The platform even tailors content for gifted, average, and less able students, supporting truly inclusive learning.

Training 500,000 Teachers Nationwide: Bridging Nigeria’s Digital Divide

Is technology going to leave some behind? Nothing from TRCN and GMIND AI. First, through AI literacy seminars, 2,500 expert trainers guide 500,000 instructors and final-year student teachers in all areas. Even low-bandwidth teachers can participate with offline-ready tools and mobile-first design.

“GMIND AI’s robust infrastructure is built to overcome barriers with cloud architecture optimised for low-bandwidth environments,” emphasised GMIND’s head of product, Aisha Bello. And, as Dr. Soyombo put it: “This is teachers supporting teachers.”

Since 45 million Nigerians attend school, this instructional platform is more than technology. One of Africa’s most significant AI-powered education projects, it will reach every spot a licensed instructor can encourage.
