Leading digital payments company Visa announced the introduction of Visa Pay, a cutting-edge mobile solution that enables account-to-account money transfers and digital payments in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), on Thursday.

About Visa Pay

Visa Pay allows both banked and unbanked customers to transfer money between participating banks and mobile networks in a safe and interoperable manner.

Visa Pay is designed to satisfy the particular financial requirements of people and businesses in the nation, emphasising accessibility, affordability, and convenience.

Visa Pay, a mobile-first solution, provides near real-time account-to-account money movement in two currencies (USD and CDF), simple enrollment, and sophisticated risk and fraud prevention features.
