On Friday, Spiro, Africa’s largest electric mobility solutions provider, showcased its cutting-edge electric bikes, reaffirming its commitment to creating a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable mobility ecosystem.
The electric bikes were demonstrated live at the company’s Media Connect event, which was hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The gathering brought together more than thirty journalists, media professionals, and industry stakeholders to discuss how electric mobility will influence Nigerian transportation in the future.
Spiro’s goals to enhance clean mobility ecosystem
Rahul Gaur, director of Spiro West Africa, explained the organisation’s goals at the strategic event: lowering carbon emissions, enhancing urban mobility, and providing passengers with reasonably priced, environmentally friendly transportation options.
“We’re thrilled to engage directly with the media and share our journey toward transforming transportation in Nigeria,” said Gaur. “Electric mobility isn’t just the future—it’s the now. And Nigeria is ready to embrace it.”
Spiro’s electric bike was demonstrated live to the attendees, who also had the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities that gave them a firsthand look at the technology.
Journalists had the chance to ask questions concerning Spiro’s operations, expansion plans, and customer experience during an interactive question-and-answer session at the event.
Spiro’s plans to expand to other cities
Spiro Nigeria is actively growing into other key cities throughout the nation, including Ogun, Abuja, Taraba, Niger, Nasarawa, and Gombe, and has already made notable progress in Lagos.
Plans are in motion to reach other states, such as Ondo, Kaduna, and Oyo.
With an expanding network of service facilities, charging stations, and rider support systems, the business is establishing itself as a significant force in Nigeria’s shift to environmentally friendly transportation.
The Media Connect event also served as an opportunity to promote increased public awareness of the advantages of electric mobility and improved press relations.
By interacting directly with media practitioners, Spiro aims to create a network of informed advocates to help spread its message and mission of a clean and sustainable mobility ecosystem.
