GITEX Global 2025, the world’s largest technology and AI event, will take place in Dubai starting Monday at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
It will bring together more than 6,800 businesses and 2,000 startups from 180 countries.
Organisers said in a statement on Tuesday that the event, which will take place from October 13 to October 17, will bring together innovators and global technology leaders spearheading the most ambitious expansion of AI infrastructure globally.
Tech giants to grace GITEX GLOBAL 2025
Among the leading players are Alibaba Cloud, AMD, AWS, Dell, e&, G42, Google, HPE, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Siemens, and Snowflake.
Newcomers include Cerebras, Datadog, Mitsubishi, Qualcomm, Rital, ServiceNow, Tata Electronics, Telecom Italia, and Tenstorrent.
Executive Vice President of Dubai World Trade Centre Trixie LohMirmand said, “AI ingenuity is converging with humanity’s most pressing challenges in future-critical sectors, including data centres, biotech, quantum, and robotics.
“GITEX GLOBAL 2025 gives new impetus to these transformative technologies, while continuing to be the harbinger of innovation-led progress across industries and global economies.”
The startup showcase Expand North Star opened on Sunday at Dubai Harbour with the leading exhibition. The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy organises it and includes over 1,200 investors and 2,000 startups with $1.1 trillion in assets under management.
Global participation
Brazil is joining as a country partner with its largest-ever tech delegation, setting a new record for international participation this year. The Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Tech Destination Pakistan also joined as essential partners.
The new pavilions from Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, and Turkey reflect wider representation from Europe, Central Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Levant.
Tatiana Riera, Apexbrasil’s chief operating officer, said the gathering was “a great opportunity to show how Brazil is driving innovation and creating tech solutions for global challenges.”
Marko Čadež, president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also mentioned that Serbian startups were demonstrating AI applications in various domains, from social media analytics to energy and well-being.
The five-day event aims to influence the upcoming ten years of digital transformation and features investments and international collaborations announcements.
Policymakers and business leaders are using the platform to discuss how to create inclusive digital economies, speed up innovation, and scale infrastructure.
