NITDA, a Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fund designed to close the skills gap by helping creative businesses with workspace vouchers and initial investment, demonstrating its position as a regulator and developer of the IT industry, has begun its Transitional Assistance Program (TIES). HIVE is another project of the organization. It was made to work with CBN to set up entrepreneurial centers in universities and other places of higher education to help students develop their skills.

Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi is the Executive Director of the National Information Technology Development Authority (NITDA). He wants to empower Nigerians through innovation centers by encouraging innovation and nationalizing technology.

“In this regard, the DG stated that the organization has established over 1,500 IT centers across the nation to train thousands of Nigerians with fundamental computer skills. DG was speaking through engineer Salisu Kaka, director of digital economy at NITDA.
