AI-Powered Education for the Future

AIT President Professor Clement Dzidonu emphasised AI’s critical role in modern education: “We are at the dawn of an AI revolution. Leading universities worldwide are now exploring how to incorporate these technologies into their operations.” AIT aims to be at the forefront of this movement by incorporating AI into 12 critical areas of its academic ecosystem, including curriculum design, program delivery, research, assessments, and alum engagement.

The initiative aligns with AIT’s mission to provide an enhanced learning experience that equips students with cutting-edge skills necessary to thrive in the rapidly evolving global job market.

Policies and Vision for AI Integration

Backed by its Board of Trustees, comprising six former Vice Chancellors, AIT is creating robust policies to guide the implementation of AI across the university. The board aims to ensure that the technology benefits every student while preparing them to navigate the increasingly AI-driven economy and society.

Professor Dzidonu emphasised, “Our holistic approach to integrating AI will position AIT as a global leader in delivering intelligent, innovative education, ultimately benefiting both our students and the global education community.”
