Afrikamart facilitates retailers access to fresh products in Senegal

Afrikamart is a Senegalese business that specializes in fresh produce delivery and marketing services for agri-food farmers. It operates an online marketplace through which retailers, hotels, restaurants, and supermarkets can sell their fresh goods.

About Afrikamart

Afrikamart was formed in 2018 when its founder Mignane Diouf realized that it was easier for shops to import fruit and vegetables from Morocco than it was to purchase them locally in Senegal. The firm collects fresh products from thousands of rural growers and distributes them to metropolitan stores. As a result, it ensures higher farm incomes for farmers, lower retail costs for merchants, and higher-quality products for end consumers.
