Stanislaus Martins has been named Managing Director for West Africa by Aleph Group Inc., a global ecosystem of digital specialists and technology-driven solutions that boosts digital marketing.

In a press statement to Reuters, Aleph said it trusts its new Managing Director’s abilities.

Stanislaus will oversee Aleph’s West Africa operations, focusing on solidifying Aleph’s position as the region’s leading digital platform sales partner, fostering strategic partnerships, and growing the West African digital economy.

“We are thrilled that Stanislaus is taking charge in this important role,” said Aleph Sub-Saharan Africa Managing Director Stephen A. Newton. “His experience in digital marketing, technology, and sales makes him the ideal leader for our West African expansion. We believe his Aleph knowledge and passion will open new doors for our clients and partners, helping the region’s digital transformation.”

Stanislaus has led successful industry projects for nearly two decades. He knows the African digital landscape well, having been Aleph’s Regional Meta Director SSA and launching Meta’s Authorised Sales Partnership programme in Nigeria and Ghana.

Stanislaus has always driven growth, nurtured talent, and had excellent partnerships, which can help Aleph achieve its big West African aspirations.

Stanislaus Martins said, “I am excited to be appointed by Aleph Group to lead the team at this pivotal juncture in THE West African digital revolution.” I am passionate about managing a great team to provide transformative solutions for our customers and stakeholders. The potential for innovation and impact is enormous. With strong alliances and a shared vision, we can maximise this dynamic market.”

Learn all about Aleph Group

CEO Gaston Taratuta founded Aleph in 2005 to accelerate the worldwide economic move from offline to online and drive long-term economic prosperity. The Group has over 1,500 people in 65+ offices and significant investors like CVC Partners, Mercado Libre, Sony, Twitter, and Snap.

Aleph lets advertisers reach consumers across 45 of the world’s top digital platforms, including TikTok, X (previously Twitter), Snap, Spotify, Uber, Meta, Microsoft, Twitch, and Google, in over 130 emerging nations.

The Group offers local teams of industry and platform specialists, integrates proprietary technologies with localised solutions, and runs Digital Ad Expert, a free digital advertising education project.

Aleph Payments debuted in August as a global cross-border payments and credit underwriting unit. The network processes over $2bn in cross-border credit and payments, according to the business.

Similar to Ad Dynamo

Six months ago, Aleph’s African media sales subsidiary, Ad Dynamo, named José Gonsalves its East African Managing Director. Gonsalves oversees the company’s digital workstreams, deliverables, and more after his appointment.

Ad Dynamo expanded into Nigeria eight months ago. Nigeria was the next best area to try due to its intense internet penetration and startup brand concentration. Interestingly, Ad Dynamo had previously worked in Nigeria.

The country got a free digital academy named Digital Ad Expert in 2022. They supported its goal of upskilling 50,000 digital learners worldwide. It scheduled appointments. The company hired Stephen Newton as Africa’s Managing Director this year. Carl Jordan became the Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Sales Director.
