AltSchool Africa has teamed up with the Government of Cape Verde through Cabo Verde Digital and Ola.CV, to provide free digital skills training to 100 Cape Verdeans.

This 12-month certified program, set to begin in March 2025, aims to empower participants with in-demand technical and non-technical skills, boosting their employability and career readiness. This collaboration is part of a broader effort to enhance Cape Verde’s digital ecosystem and drive economic growth.

Why this program matters for Cape Verde’s digital economy

This initiative is a significant step towards strengthening Cape Verde’s digital landscape. Sponsored by Ola.CV, the program aligns with Cabo Verde Digital’s mission of fostering digital innovation and entrepreneurship. The program creates employment opportunities by equipping young Cape Verdeans with essential coding and no-code skills and contributes to the country’s vision of digital literacy and economic empowerment.
