Apple’s highly anticipated ‘Awe Dropping’ event on September 9, 2025, will debut the iPhone 17 lineup, a new Apple Watch Series, AirPods Pro 3, and other exciting technologies. This event is a must-see for tech enthusiasts.

iPhone 17 models highlight new features

There will likely be four types in the iPhone 17 series: the standard iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The sleek 5.5mm profile of the iPhone 17 Air makes it Apple’s smallest phone ever, which is getting a lot of attention as the most significant design change in almost a decade.

The A19 Pro chipset, which is constructed with TSMC’s 3nm process, is a potent addition to the lineup. It is expected to deliver improved energy efficiency and faster performance.

The introduction of ProMotion 120Hz displays across all models by Apple will guarantee more fluid navigation and visuals.

Return to aluminium frame for Pro models

Notably, Apple is reportedly returning an aluminium frame for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, moving away from the titanium design used since the iPhone 15 Pro series.

This change aims to reduce weight, improve heat dissipation, and enhance comfort during prolonged use, especially with the Pro Max potentially housing a larger battery.

The Pro models have amazing triple 48MP camera systems with a new telephoto lens that can zoom in 5 times, which makes mobile photos even better.

Additional Apple devices steal the spotlight

Beyond the iPhones, the event is set to feature the new Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 with enhanced health-tracking technologies and AI capabilities. The AirPods Pro 3 will have improved audio and gesture capabilities using IR sensors.

Apple TV 4K and the HomePod with a display may potentially get updates, making this event a widespread deployment.

Where and when to watch

Apple’s live stream starts at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on September 9, accessible on Apple’s website, YouTube, and the Apple TV app. This event is being hyped as the biggest of the year, and viewers worldwide are ready for the surprises Apple has in store as the curtain lifts on the iPhone 17 and more.
