The most prominent cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced a partnership between its educational arm, Binance Academy, and Coursera, one of the largest online education platforms in the world, with over 124 million learners enrolled.

The result of this partnership will be a full suite of learning programs that will roll out over the next several months and beyond, providing educational possibilities to people all across the world.

These programs revolve around a wide variety of concepts, which would be designed to meet the needs of people who want to learn the basics of blockchain, web3, and crypto technologies and those who want to acquire the expertise necessary to pursue a career in the blockchain business.

Those who complete these courses will get a digital certificate of completion that may be used as evidence of their competence and to gain entry into the rapidly expanding sector.

Learners across the world can have access

“Education is the cornerstone of progress and innovation,” stated Yi He, co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Binance. We at Binance Academy have been guided by this principle in our efforts to educate the world about the revolutionary capabilities of blockchain technology.

“We’re thrilled to finally share the news that we’ve partnered up with Coursera today! By working together, we are able to leverage the expertise of two market leaders with the same goal: to provide top-notch education that accelerates adoption and lays the groundwork for Web3.”

According to Marni Baker Stein, Coursera’s Chief Content Officer, “learning skills in blockchain, web3, and cryptocurrency is more important than ever as a variety of new and exciting job roles emerge in these fields.”

He continued, “We’re excited to be partnering with Binance Academy to increase the number of courses available in these fields. Learners from all around the world will have access to Binance Academy’s comprehensive online and self-paced coursework delivered by industry experts.”

A comprehensive system that aids in adopting the digital economy.

Experts from Binance Academy will create the courses, and there will be many courses in each learning program, each with its own set of video lectures, readings, practice tests, and graded projects or evaluations.

Binance Academy’s current worldwide education efforts, including multimedia material, Learn & Earn campaigns, and the University Outreach Programme, are bolstered by this partnership with Coursera, establishing a comprehensive system that aids millions of individuals in adopting the digital economy.

Organizations that invest in blockchain technology are reaping the benefits. The “Time for trust” research by PWC predicts that this technology will improve over 40 million jobs across the world by 2030.

DevSkiller found that demand for blockchain programming skills increased by 552% in 2022, based on an analysis of over 200,000 skill evaluations. This report shows that there is high demand for experts skilled in crypto and blockchain technology.
