Blink Pharma, a Moroccan e-health startup, has received an undisclosed amount of funding from the Azur Innovation Fund to help it expand operations and launch new products.

Blink Pharma, founded in 2020 by Ali Sami and Adil Bertul, has created a B2B marketplace where pharmacists, laboratories, and wholesalers can exchange orders and make payments. The platform also includes a news and information section, and it already has over 3,500 pharmacists as subscribers.

The startup has finished its first round of funding from the Azur Innovation Fund. The money will help grow the business and bring out new health care products.

Views From Blink Pharma

“We want to accelerate the digital footprint of healthcare services.” We began our journey with the pharmacy to broaden our services to the doctor and the patient. “Digital technology is profoundly transforming the healthcare sector, and we want to assist healthcare stakeholders in this transformation,” Sami said.

“More applications are in the works, always intending to assist healthcare professionals.” We are proud that we were able to convince a big investment fund, like the Azur Innovation Fund, to give us the money we needed to realise the potential of digitisation in healthcare fully.
