Boomplay, an Africa-focused music streaming and download platform, has officially announced the launch of its partnership product offers, which will enable artists, brands, and prospective advertisers to optimise for more precise exposure and visibility. 

With over 95 million Monthly Active Users, Boomplay is a valuable platform set to provide resources and tools to artists, companies, and agencies in order to expand their reach and visibility to their target audience while they listen to their favourite tracks and podcasts. The advertising solutions will give companies with long-term exposure and effective advertising placements to boost the conversion rate of their campaigns.

In particular, a faster-paced culture with more advanced technology and widespread access to the internet is evidence of rising competition for people’s attention. As people’s attention spans shrink, companies that choose more publicity might be the difference between obscurity and notoriety.

The music platform has also announced that it will be focusing its partnership offerings on markets including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, and Sub-Saharan African countries including francophone countries. These partnerships will allow the company to deliver effective campaigns to its audiences across a wide range of industries, including FMCG, Fintech, E-commerce, 3C, Banks, Games, Social Media apps, Telcos, and others.

Boomplay, number one app in the Play Store across key African nations

Given that Boomplay’s future goals are more expensive, it will continue to be known for its good brand reputation and as the go-to app for everything music and entertainment for Africa’s booming young demographic. This will allow for the realisation of great branding results for brand partners and marketers. Brands may use Boomplay advertising to place their company in front of listeners for total discovery and engagement.

The music platform has long been popular throughout Africa. According to Boomplay, 70% of their streams are based on African music rather than music from other continents.  Boomplay’s head of marketing, Tosin Sorinola, claims that the app is the number one app in the Play Store across key African nations and that it has at least 1.5 million social media followers.
