Under the hood, the Seagull boasts a 55kW (77 hp) electric motor with a torque of 135Nm, reaching a top speed of 130 km/h. Built on BYD’s advanced E-Platform 3.0 and featuring the innovative Blade Battery technology, the car ensures enhanced safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Sleek design, smart interior, and advanced safety features

Compact yet stylish, the Seagull’s design draws inspiration from ocean wave movements, giving it a dynamic and sporty look. Measuring 3,780mm in length, 1,715mm in width, and 1,580mm in height, it fits perfectly into Morocco’s bustling city streets. Buyers can choose from three elegant colors: black, white, and green.

Inside, the vehicle offers a modern and functional cabin with vegan leather sport seats, multiple storage compartments, and a 10.1-inch electrically rotating touchscreen. The infotainment system is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and includes voice control for seamless interaction.

When it comes to safety, the Seagull is equipped with six airbags and a high-strength body structure, ensuring optimal protection for passengers. These features make it an ideal choice for urban drivers who prioritise security without compromising comfort.

Affordable and ready to drive in Morocco

Priced at 209,900 MAD ($20,990, including tax), the Seagull enters Morocco’s EV market as an attractive and budget-friendly option. With a focus on urban mobility, the car’s launch is expected to accelerate Morocco’s transition toward sustainable transportation.

Since entering the Moroccan market in July 2023, BYD has introduced six electric models, including the HAN, TANG, ATTO 3, SEAL, and SEAL U PHEV. The addition of the Seagull strengthens the company’s presence in North Africa and reflects its commitment to providing innovative, eco-friendly mobility solutions.
