Carbon Finance has partnered with CarePay to provide its customers with discounted healthcare services. It’s part of a larger plan to make high-quality medical care more accessible to Nigerians.

As a result of this partnership, Carbon Finance offers its customers discounts on healthcare payments made with their Carbon debit cards within the Carepay healthcare provider network. These savings will show up in the carbon accounts of the customers as a cashback contribution.

The partnership is a new landmark for Carbon

The co-founder of Carbon, Chijioke Dozie, said this about the partnership: “This partnership is a landmark achievement because it is the first time CarePay’s healthcare discount program has been associated with a Nigerian fintech company.”

“At Carbon, we think our customers should have access to nothing but the finest, which is why we are using a tremendous alliance to remove the financial barriers and restrictions that prevent people from receiving top medical care. He said, “this is just one of the many ways we at Carbon show customers that we care.”

The Managing Director of CarePay Nigeria said this about the initiative: “This partnership with Carbon is a validation of our healthcare discount business model. It allows financial service enterprises to embed healthcare benefits like discounts, Cashback, and telehealth into their value proposition to make healthcare services more affordable for their customers and build brand loyalty for the enterprises.”

“CarePay’s innovative healthcare discount program is the first of its kind in Nigeria. It has a preferred provider network that includes leading healthcare merchants like MedPlus Pharmacy, Synlab, Outreach Hospital Group, Smile360 Dental, Lily Hospital Group, Exclusive Dental, Amara Medicare, Shield specialist hospitals, Pure Snow Dental, Bethel Dental, Optilens eye clinic, and hundreds more, where discount program members can get significant discounts.

Sule also posited, “With only 10 million Nigerians, which is less than 5 per cent of the population, currently covered by health insurance, this creates a great concern.” Sule was giving more information about the many ways that people who use Carbon can benefit.

The partnership will provide discounted medical rates to Customers

Due to the partnership with Carepay, Carbon Finance will be able to give their debit card users cash back in the form of discounts on health care.

Customers can get up to a 25% cashback discount when they use their Carbon debit cards at certain healthcare providers who are part of the CarePay healthcare discount program. This is in line with the idea that healthcare should be affordable.

The historic partnership that Carbon has formed with CarePay is only the first of many to come. We were the first credit-led digital company in Nigeria and have been around for 10 years. We are the first financial technology company to work with CarePay to give cardholders discounts in the form of cash back at certain healthcare businesses in Nigeria.

We hope that Nigerians can use our carbon debit cards to access comprehensive healthcare solutions and items sold by primary healthcare retailers.

In order for customers to take advantage of this, they will first need to register on Carbon. Then, the team explained, they will need to ask for a debit card, activate it, and start making payments to certain healthcare providers who are part of the CarePay healthcare discount program.
