New services for users and partners

The startup has announced that it has introduced paid services to its platform, such as premium listings, featured ads, and subscription plans. These services are designed to provide more value and visibility to users and partners, and to create a sustainable revenue model for the startup.

The paid services are optional and users can still access the basic features of the platform for free. The startup said that it has already secured some paying customers and partners, such as hospitals, clinics, and medical equipment suppliers.

New features for healthcare talent

The startup has also expanded its digital offerings with the launch of “Medstore Jobs”, a dedicated healthcare talent marketplace. This new feature caters specifically to the healthcare industry, connecting businesses with the right talent.

“Medstore Jobs” seamlessly integrates with existing Medstore accounts, enabling users to access both marketplace functionalities and talent acquisition solutions under one roof. Users can post and apply for jobs, browse and contact candidates, and manage their profiles and applications.

The startup said that it has already received positive feedback and interest from both employers and job seekers in the healthcare sector.

Medstore vision to transform the healthcare industry

The CEO of Medstore, Chernet Mequanent, said that the startup is constantly innovating and improving its platform to meet the needs and expectations of its users and partners.

“We are excited to launch these new features and services, which will enhance our platform and provide more value to our users and partners. We believe that by connecting buyers and sellers of medical equipment online, and by connecting businesses and talent in the healthcare industry, we can transform the healthcare sector in Ethiopia and beyond,” he said.
