Gamefest 2025, powered by 10N8E Esports, Africa’s leading esports provider, is set to transform Nigerian university campuses into exciting gaming arenas.

Kicking off on May 2-3 at the University of Ibadan, this esports tour will visit multiple universities across the country through July 2025, giving students the chance to compete in popular games, win cash prizes, and connect with fellow gamers. This initiative aims to fuel the growth of Nigeria’s dynamic esports community.

Gamefest 2025 Nigeria

Gamefest is a one-of-a-kind esports experience designed exclusively for Nigerian university students. Hosted by 10N8E, the brains behind the PUBG Mobile Campus Championship, it’s a celebration of gaming culture on your campus.

The game lineup includes mobile-first hits like PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, and FreeFire, plus games such as Street Fighter, Just Dance, and a racing game ranked by fastest lap times. With 166 slots per campus, you and your crew can sign up to compete for the “Rep Your Campus” title.

Sign up early to secure your spot and get ready to show off your skills.

10N8E university tour dates and campus stops

The 2025 Gamefest tour will light up some of Nigeria’s most active student hubs. It kicks off at the University of Ibadan on May 2-3, followed by the University of Abuja on May 16-17, and the University of Port Harcourt on July 4-5.

Additional stops at the University of Benin and the University of Lagos are in the works, with dates to be confirmed soon. Each event includes action with Friday check-ins with welcome kits, Saturday morning Monster Wake Up aerobics, gaming sessions from noon to 5 PM, semi-finals, finals, and a DJ-fueled afterparty.

These campuses were chosen for their strong student communities and enthusiasm for esports, ensuring a lively atmosphere. Registration is first-come, first-served.

Prizes and impact of Gamefest 2025 esports

Gamefest brings rewards for competitors. Winners in each game title pocket ₦25,000 in cash, while all participants can earn GP Tokens by registering, playing, or winning. These tokens can be swapped for gadgets, merch, and products from partners like Monster, Carbon, and Infinix on 10n8e.gg. Champions also score digital trophies, permanent badges of honor on their player profiles that could open doors to future esports opportunities.

Gamefest is a game-changer for Nigeria’s esports scene. As 10N8E’s founder, Mr. Adebayo, puts it, the tour empowers students to grow, connect, and explore their potential through gaming. By introducing new titles and fostering community, Gamefest is laying the foundation for a thriving esports culture, from casual fun to pro-level dreams.
