Google has rolled out a substantial update for ChromeOS, introducing a slew of exciting features in version M116.

In a recent blog post, Google has outlined these enhancements, offering Chromebook users a peek into what’s new and improved.

One standout feature in ChromeOS M116 is the improved search functionality within the Files app. Google has taken a significant step forward, allowing users to search across both their local files and Google Drive simultaneously. Additionally, the introduction of “search chips” offers users a more customized and refined search experience.
