Yango, part of the global technology company Yango Group, has launched a new premium ride-hailing service called Goya by Yango in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

This service was announced on Monday and aims to elevate the everyday ride experience, focusing on comfort, reliability, and exclusivity.

Goya by Yango: Premium rides, enhanced comfort

Goya by Yango is designed to provide users with refined service. It includes brand-new and spacious vehicles, handpicked and trained drivers, and complimentary amenities like bottled water, candies, phone chargers, and magazines.

The service emphasizes a premium atmosphere, ensuring a seamless and indulgent user experience.

Kadotien Soro, Country Head of Yango in Côte d’Ivoire, noted, “Goya represents a new chapter in the ride-hailing industry, offering an experience where comfort, sophistication, and safety go hand in hand.” This launch underscores Yango’s commitment to providing diverse transportation options tailored to users’ needs.

Goya’s drivers are selected through a rigorous process and trained to meet high-end hospitality standards, boasting an average rating of 4.9+. They are dressed in elegant uniforms and ensure a courteous and comfortable ride for passengers. 

The service also strongly emphasises safety and reliability, with each driver undergoing an 8-step verification process and all trips being monitored in real time.

Goya: In-app safety tools, including real-time route sharing

Beyond comfort, Goya prioritises safety with real-time trip monitoring and an in-app emergency alert. The app allows users to instantly share their route with trusted contacts, aligning with Yango’s broader safety measures, which include over 30 safety tools. 

Additionally, Goya aims to foster a distinguished community by curating private events, offering loyalty programs, and collaborating with top-tier partners in luxury, hospitality, and travel.
