About Growth4Her

Growth4Her is a project that was made by Creative Space Startups, Social Capital Impact Group, The Learning Gate, and WETECH with money from AFAWA and AFDB. Growth4Her is a programme that helps women entrepreneurs by giving them the skills and tools they need to grow their small businesses into high-potential, fundable growth-stage businesses.

The African Development Bank (AfDB) said in 2021 that there is a $42 billion funding difference between men and women in Africa. Growth4Her is working hard to close the gender financing gap in Africa by giving women-owned small and medium-sized businesses the right skills, knowledge, access to markets, access to finance, and a fair share of participation in government.

Over the next five (5) years, this programme wants to help 1500 women entrepreneurs in 10 African towns. Women-led small and medium enterprises (WSMEs) are of particular interest to the programme. The program helps people learn how to be ready for investments, connects them directly to donors, and builds an ecosystem that helps WSMEs.
