Taking place on February 6th and 7th, 2024, Innovate Nigeria is poised to host the Nigerian business landscape. It is going to be the biggest corporate innovation conference in the country.

Startups will be able to access corporate venture capital at this event, which will be held at the Landmark Events Center on Victoria Island in Lagos and will focus on accelerating business transformation in the age of AI.

In light of the present situation of the private market and the challenges Nigerian startup founders encounter in securing funding, the local startup ecosystem must be provided with a platform that encourages collaboration, partnerships, and investments between startups and corporations.

The Innovate Nigeria Conference is centered around the idea of speeding up business transformation by bringing together large corporations and startups that are using cutting-edge AI and LLM technologies to boost productivity. The objective is to bring together business moguls, investors, tech execs, and government officials in Nigeria to showcase and support game-changing ideas.

Innovate Nigeria Conference 2024 to explore business in AI era

Why business conferences are needed

Networking: One of the primary advantages of attending such an event, which was mentioned earlier, is the opportunity to meet new people.  But a lot of people miss out on great networking opportunities. People tend to stick with those they already know rather than reach out to new people, and they don’t have a plan for networking.

To network, you must be willing to leave your comfort zone and engage with strangers. In fact, you can reap a lot of benefits and discover opportunities you never knew existed by reaching out to industries you don’t network with enough. So, the next time you’re at a conference, make sure to look for the table of that marketing firm whose name keeps popping up. Connections that turn out to be truly special can pop up anywhere.

Staying informed: While making connections is certainly a primary goal of conferences, it is important not to lose sight of the fact that these gatherings also serve to disseminate new information and ideas.

By going to conferences, you can lessen the likelihood that your business will miss out on chances to adopt cutting-edge innovations. You also make sure to keep yourself updated on how technology is changing your important areas. One surefire way to amass a wealth of knowledge is to attend relevant conferences.
