Do you come up with new ideas or run a business? Do you have a great idea that could help solve a problem in the real world? With the help of the Intellectual roperty (IP) Labs programme, you can turn your idea into a business that does well.

IP Labs is a project of the Nigeria Office of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and The Orbra Company. They are looking for applications from Nigerian startups with ideas for a virtual incubation and acceleration programme that will help them use intellectual property to grow their businesses.

The goal of the programme is to help:

  • Make goods out of new ideas that can be mass-produced.
  • Make people aware of how to use IP for business.
  • Make MVPs (minimum viable products).
  • Put together pitch decks.
  • Get the right IP rights for your inventions and new ideas.
  • Talk to teachers, investors, and other important people in the ecosystem.
