Inq. Group, a well-known global edge solutions provider, has said again that it is committed to advancing AI technology in Nigeria and Africa by providing easy-to-use solutions.

During a media roundtable held on Tuesday, July 25, in Lagos, the company’s ambitious plan for empowering Africa’s tech industry was unveiled. 

At the event, top executives like Group Chairman Andile Ngcaba and Group CEO Glad Dibetso talked about inq. Group’s goals are to drive innovation and shape the future of AI and edge solutions on the continent.

The session was called “Leading with Edge: The Future of Edge Solutions in Nigeria,” and the Group CEO, Glad Dibetso, talked about how hard Inq Group works to improve Africa’s technology and change its technology environment.

Dibetso said, “We are sure that INQ. will change the way education is done across the continent.” He stressed the value of connectivity as the key to changing education. 

The company wants to teach kids important skills like robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and software development. This will help more tech-driven small businesses and African unicorns startup.

Group’s plans to use AI to help Nigeria’s energy field

During his keynote speech, the Executive Chairman, Andile Ngcaba, talked about Inq. Group’s mission is to help AI grow in Africa, especially in Nigeria’s energy industry.

Ngcaba stated, “Our vision is to introduce artificial intelligence to Nigeria, empowering the country to actively participate in the global AI landscape. In pursuit of this objective, we aim to establish Nigeria as a centre of excellence for developing customised AI solutions in the energy sector.”

The company will focus on making AI solutions for the energy business that is at the cutting edge of technology. Nigeria’s energy production and distribution companies can find and fix leaks in the electricity value chain by providing real-time electricity consumption analytics for certain locations.

Ngcaba was also optimistic about Nigeria’s prospects and the big impact it could have on Africa. He said that Nigeria is one of the main reasons why the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the whole continent are growing. “The growth of Africa in the future will depend a lot on how dynamic this country is,” Ngcaba said with confidence.
