With its integration of fintech APIs, the platform offers a comprehensive solution for Africa’s varied travel requirements, serving individuals, corporations, interstate transport operators, and travel agencies.

During a panel discussion at the expo, Nnenna Ajanwachuku, Vice President, Transport Ecosystem at Interswitch, outlined the company’s goal of revolutionising travel throughout Africa.

“At Interswitch, we’re not just processing transactions; we’re creating the infrastructure that connects travellers, content creators, and operators across Africa. Quickteller Travel is making bookings smarter, payments safer, and travel more accessible for everyone,” Ajanwachuku said.

Interswitch’s broader strategy

Her comments emphasised Interswitch’s overarching plan to build ecosystems that promote efficiency, prosperity, and inclusivity throughout Africa.

Important players in the travel and tourism industry paid close attention to Interswitch during the three-day expo.

Operators and delegates engaged with the company’s live demonstrations and exhibits, witnessing firsthand how Quickteller Travel combines cutting-edge technology with Africa’s transportation environment.

Exhibitors, agency representatives, and corporate travel managers commended the platform for its capacity to improve customer experience, facilitate smooth payments, and streamline operations.

Interswitch is establishing itself as a growth engine in a field essential to regional development and intra-African trade by fusing digital tools with travel services.

Interswitch’s mission of offering travellers convenience

According to Ajanwachuku, this strategy supports Interswitch’s objective of developing infrastructure that promotes corporate expansion while providing convenience and assurance to travellers.

“Our vision is clear. We are focused on simplifying travel, enabling growth for businesses, and giving travellers the convenience and confidence they deserve,” she added.

This strategy aligns with Interswitch’s overarching goal of using digital innovation to advance intra-African trade and prosperity.

According to industry observers, Quickteller Travel is especially relevant as Africa continues to integrate its mobility, trade, and travel systems through programs like the African Continental Free Trade Area.

The platform uses digital infrastructure to improve travel efficiency and fortify Africa’s global competitiveness.
