IoT Africa Networks, a leading provider of IoT and Industrial IoT solutions in Nigeria, has appointed Engr. Anthony Okuyelu as its new Managing Director.

In his new capacity, Okuyelu will be responsible for directing IoT Africa Networks’ growth and innovation strategy. Additionally, he will concentrate on expanding the company’s market presence and forming new partnerships.

Okuyelu is a certified project manager with a wealth of experience devising and implementing successful strategies. He is a natural leader and team player who has a passion for innovation and customer service.

With more than 35 years of experience working in the oil and gas business, Okuyelu is an accomplished expert in the fields of communications technology and project management. As indicated by his past employment at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and its subsidiaries, N21 Telecoms and NAPET Telecoms Ltd., he has a proven track record of success in leading and expanding businesses. He has also received numerous accolades for his achievements.

IoT Africa Networks has taken a huge step forward thanks to the new Managing Director being appointed, which is the case with his appointment. 

As the business continues to grow and expand, the experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm for innovation that Okuyelu brings will be extremely beneficial to the organisation. The fact that he is working with Melanie Ayoola, who is the Executive Director of the company, is another encouraging development that will undoubtedly result in wonderful things for the business.

About IoT Africa

IoT Africa Networks Limited is an organisation that is a part of the Tranter Group and is owned by Tranter IT Infrastructure Services Limited (Tranter IT). Since 2019, it has held the position of being the sole Sigfox Operator (SO) in Nigeria.

IoT Africa is in the process of constructing the Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN), which will provide a national infrastructure to assist the growth and penetration of IoT and Industrial IoT in Nigeria. This will be done with the help of IoT Africa.
