Seleem Musibau has been appointed as the new CEO of Jumia Ghana, according to Jumia, the top e-commerce platform in Africa, on Thursday.
With more than 10 years of experience at Jumia, Seleem brings a wealth of knowledge about the West African e-commerce market and a strong commercial leadership background.
His appointment demonstrates Jumia’s ongoing dedication to identifying and developing internal talent, strengthening a culture of expansion and stability throughout its markets.
Seleem Musibau’s portfolio
Since February 2024, Seleem has held the position of Regional Chief Commercial Officer, his most recent role.
After holding several significant positions within the company, he was the Chief Commercial Officer at Jumia Côte d’Ivoire, where he contributed significantly to its success.
His journey, which started in 2014 at Jumia, is evidence of his deep leadership, operational excellence, and strong commercial acumen.
