A new program has been started called the Katapult Africa Accelerator Program. It will help businesses that make technology for farming and climate change more efficient. It will work with the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Norrsken, and Smart Africa to help them grow and get more money.

African entrepreneurs have been helped by the Katapult Accelerator, which is located in Norway. It has invested in a number of African businesses and created spin-offs like Katapult Ocean and a program that focuses on climate change.

In Rwanda, Philip Gasaatura, Katapult’s country director for Rwanda, says that the Katapult Africa team is excited to work with TBI, Smart Africa, and Norrsken, as well as with other companies, ecosystem partners, and corporate partners as Katapult launches the Africa Accelerator Program in Rwanda.

There will be a three-month Katapult Africa Accelerator Program that will be run both in-person and online from Rwanda. Its goal is to help and invest in up to 15 businesses.

It’s a good idea for start-ups in agriculture and food technology to apply. Startups in the supply chain, distribution, and logistics industries, as well as sustainable infrastructure, are encouraged to apply.
