KuCoin, a major cryptocurrency exchange, is marking its fifth anniversary, announcing celebrations, and detailing its long-term plans.
KuCoin was founded in 2017, and since then, it has scaled 142 times from its original seven co-founders to a highly productive staff of over 1,000 individuals worldwide. The exchange serves twenty million cryptocurrency customers from more than 200 countries. The KuCoin platform’s cumulative trading volume has surpassed $2 trillion, with the biggest single-day trading volume topping $30 billion and a rapidly increasing user base.

Kucoin User-centred strategy
KuCoin has continuously enhanced its product range to satisfy different users’ needs and offer a better trading experience. KuCoin provides Spot Grid, Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), Futures Grid, Smart Rebalance, and Infinity Grid products in addition to its Trading Bot automated trading feature. With peak daily trade volumes exceeding $10 billion in 2022, KuCoin futures ranked in the top 5 global futures exchanges. KuCoin Pool rose to the top 10 largest Bitcoin mining pools globally in 2022 after doubling its computer capacity.
With the debut of Wonderland, an interactive NFT launch platform made for traditional and crypto games, KuCoin is also stepping up its efforts in the Web3 space. The release of Mystery Boxes is one of the planned events. Owning any one of the boxes of two different rarity levels gives users a chance to be whitelisted on the Windvane Launchpad.
Another is the My Crypto Story with KuCoin event, where participants may submit their tales of cryptocurrency by October 11 and compete for a share of a $20,000 prize pool. The user who receives the most votes will receive up to $2,000 in prize money. Additionally, there will be a $5,000 prize fund available for participants to split.
Last but not least, KuCoin Wallet, Windvane, and the KuCoin Community Chain (KCC) will collaborate to host KCC Beowulf, the first significant Web3 event. More than 20 projects that have been deployed on KCC, including decentralized exchanges (DEX), lending protocols, wallets, cross-chain bridges, and Web-3.0 protocols, are taking part in KCC Beowulf, a seven-week interactive activity.
