African-focused neobank Lemonade Finance has announced that customers in the United Kingdom and Canada can now send money to ten African nations, including Senegal, Ivory Coast, Benin Republic, Cameroon, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda.
"The addition of Senegal, Ivory Coast, Benin Republic, Cameroon, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda was data-driven," according to the business because they "have nationals overseas who frequently need to send money back home."
Prior to this news, diasporans from the United Kingdom and Canada could send money to relatives and friends in Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya.
