Cassava Technologies’ Pan-African group, Liquid Intelligent Technologies, has announced that it will expand its operations in Zambia by opening its first office in Mkushi, which is in the country’s Central Province.

According to a statement made public by the corporation, the launch would provide a suite of intelligent technologies and a high-speed connection to the region for the first time.

Mark Townsend, Chief Executive Officer of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zambia, said in response to the expanding presence in the country that “Mkushi is an agriculture town well-known for its large commercial farms.” “We realised that this underserved community is key to ensuring that we take one more step towards creating a digitally connected future that leaves no Zambian behind.”

What to Expect from the Expansion

Most people who live in Mkushi work on farms and the town is known for its large commercial farms. Liquid’s high-speed connectivity and digital services will make it easier for commercial farmers and other people who work in this industry to be more independent. This will, in turn, make it easier for more foreign direct investment to go into Zambia’s agricultural sector.

“The town of Mkushi is mostly an agricultural community, and it is well known for its enormous commercial farms.” Liquid’s widespread high-speed connectivity and digital services will give commercial farmers and others in this industry more freedom, which will make it easier for more foreign direct investment to go into Zambia’s agricultural sector. Townsend explained.

 Observations

In order to make the Zambian government’s goal of a “Smart Zambia” a reality over the last ten years, the government of Zambia has been working closely with Liquid in the nation. This is part of a public-private partnership (PPP) that has been going on all along. This ambition will soon become a reality, and the company’s growth into Mkushi is only one more step toward achieving this goal in the near future.

Liquid’s unique offering comprises smart technologies that give clients in many industries high-speed and reliable cross-border connectivity, cloud, cyber security, and digital products. 100,000Liquid’s 100 000 km of wholly-owned fibre network across the continent, combined with its VSAT network, provides high-speed access to Zambia’s and the continent’s most remote regions.

What Else is Liquid Technology Doing?

A few months ago, the company launched its first Cyber Security Fusion Centers in Johannesburg, South Africa, intending to boost the cyber-security industry in South Africa and Africa as a whole by combating the rising threat of cyber-attacks against the government and private businesses.

In the 21st century, digital technology has spread quickly, and South Africa is part of that trend. As a result, there is a chance that cyberattacks will happen against businesses and even governments. As a result, these fusion centres will collect information about cyberattacks and collaborate with the existing Liquid cloud operations and operation centres to ensure that users have a complete network, cloud, and cybersecurity support from start to finish.

This newly opened centre will eliminate silos and make people more aware of cyber-attacks. This will lead to deeper collaboration between teams, making them more cyber-resilient. Businesses will always be one step ahead of cyber-attacks because of security advisories, managed services, and integrated cyber intelligence.
