Oswald Jumira has been appointed to the position of chief executive officer of the Liquid C2 business unit by the pan-African technology company Liquid Intelligent Technologies (Liquid), with headquarters in Mauritius. 

He will be responsible for driving the expansion, innovation, and overall strategy of Liquid C2’s cloud and cyber security business. Oswald served as the Chief Executive Officer of Vaya Technologies, which was a subsidiary of Cassava Technologies and was referred to simply as Vaya.

Remarks

Hardy Pemhiwa, President and Group CEO of Cassava Technologies, made the following statement in response to the news of his appointment: “Oswald’s appointment as CEO of our Cloud and Cyber Security business was a natural choice for us. He has been a member of the senior management team for many years, including as CEO of Vaya Technologies.  He has deep industry relationships, is well respected for his ability to execute business plans and is the right person to drive Liquid C2’s growth and securely enabling the digital transformation journeys of our customers.”

About the CEO

Oswald is an experienced information and communications technology (ICT) specialist who has over 15 years of experience in the development of technology and businesses in a variety of African countries. Oswald oversaw a team that focused on establishing and scaling commercially viable digital products in the agriculture, healthcare, logistics, and education space when he was the CEO of Vaya Technologies Limited, which is a Cassava Technologies firm. Prior to being named as the CEO of Liquid C2, Oswald held this position. 

Liquid C2 is a subsidiary of Cassava Technologies. Previously, Oswald worked with fintech businesses in Nigeria and Kenya to investigate ways to increase the use of digital financial services. His focus was on how to boost adoption.
